Uncovered loads

There are heavy penalties for not correctly covering loads in NSW.

Loads must be covered to secure and contain all materials within the vehicle and trailer. Fines apply for uncovered loads.

Effective 1 July 2017.

Drive/tow vehicle with load causing instability	$439	3
Drive/tow vehicle with overhanging load	$439	3
Not remove/have removed anything fallen/put on road	$439	3
